Curiosity over fear of failure
BIG CHANGES COMING...
But only when I step up and step WAY out more than I am today.
I have been toggling between feelings of full speed ahead and getting yanked back with feelings of insecurity and comparison.
They say that comparison is the thief of all joy.
It couldn't be more true.
Paralysis set in just as I was set to reach out to book myself on other people's podcasts.
Sometimes I'm not in the right headspace to push through. And I also know that a more positive mindset will eventually rebound - hopefully sooner than later.
I've also noticed that my energy surges and retreats throughout the day.
It's amazing how much mental energy is burned obsessively thinking about what's next 24/7.
Despite the annoying mood elevators, one thing I'm pretty sure about...
I am about to step through a brand new portal.
I don't know what the future will hold but I do feel in my bones this is the right path.
I need to hold the mindset that my curiosity for what could be MUST be greater than my fear of failure.
I really can't wait to share the changes that I'm working on - and I'm currently vetting out some experts in the field to make sure I've got the right support. Eeeeek!
In the meantime, Culture Changers Podcast is in the midst of the work culture series. We've covered women boldly asking for more in their careers, getting psychological safety at work, and today, harassment at work.
It's funny, harassment can be obvious, and sometimes it can be subtle - but severely damaging. Today, we talk to Lisa Bowman, the author of Harasshole, who took down her harasser, a C-suite executive at one of the biggest non-profits in the world.
