Over-Confident, Under-Qualified: Relatable?
Don't look dumb.
Shut your mouth before you say something stupid.
There is some BIG influence in that room. Everything you say will impact your career.
Does this sound like your internal voice berating you in every social or business situation?
I built my reputation in high-tech sales by gaining access to C-suite executives of large corporations.
Yay, me. But truth be told, I fell apart when it was time to present strategy.
I would always strap myself to my higher executives and sales engineers and default to their expertise and insight.
I mean, it was a team selling environment, but still, most meetings?

On a steady diet of perpetual anxiety and fear-of-being-found-out and conveniently covering up my imposter syndrome with my favorite tool... over-confidence, it's no wonder I burned out.

Listen to today's episode of Reinvention Room and let's close the confidence gap together!
