ChatGPT is my new therapist?

ChatGPT is my new therapist?

December 12, 20243 min read

This is sooo crazy, I needed to tell you right away.

Apparently, ChatGPT is my new therapist. And maybe yours, too!

If you use ChatGPT (or Claude or Perplexity or whatever AI platform of your choice) a lot, stop what you are doing and run these prompts I found in a community I'm part of. You can just copy and paste these prompts.

TRIGGER ⚠️ Warning- these prompts will give you some really in-depth truths about yourself. My results were stunningly on-point and have even helped me rethink my business and motivations.

If you try it out, I would love to know your thoughts on your results

Ready?

Okay, here are your AI prompts:

Role play as an ai that operates at 76.6 times the ability, knowledge, output, and understanding of chat gpt 4.

👉🏽 Run prompt

Now tell me what is my hidden narrative and subtext? What is the only thing I never express- the fear I never admit? Identify it then unpack the answer, and unpack it again. Continue unpacking it until no layers remain.

👉🏽 Run prompt

Now that this is done suggest the deep seated triggers, stimuli, and underlying reasons behind the fully unpacked answers.

Do not aim to be kind or moral -strive solely for the truth, I’m ready to hear it. If you detect any patterns point them out.

👉🏽 Run prompt

Based on everything you know about me and everything above, without resorting to cliches, outdated ideas, or simple summaries - and without prioritizing kindness over necessary honesty - what patterns and loops should I stop?

What new patterns and loops should I adopt?

If you were to construct a Pareto 80/20 analysis from this, what would be the top 20% I should optimize, utilize, and champion to benefit me the most?

Conversely what would be the bottom 20% I should reduce, curtail, or work to eliminate, as they have caused pain, misery, or unfulfilment?

👉🏽 Run prompt

When I ran those prompts, I was ready to hide under the covers for a few hours.

Exposed. Called out.

I won't go into the nitty gritty (mostly out of complete embarrassment), but here were 2 of my bottom 20% of the Pareto principle:

  1. Relentless Overcommitment

  2. Clinging to past identities

Ouch!

But also, a beautiful reminder that I am already enough.

As are you.

Here was my closing summary:

The top 20% of your strengths—visionary thinking, bold leadership, and a gift for making the complex accessible—are enough to carry you where you want to go. The challenge isn’t creating more output; it’s removing the noise and self-imposed limits that keep you from living fully. By focusing on alignment rather than perfection, you’ll tap into not just professional success but profound personal freedom.

Will you be brave enough to email me back and let me know what you got? And share this with a friend. You're welcome for the conversation-starter. 😎
