Oooof, it feels like it's been a dizzying few days.

Rage. Elation. Gaslighting. Bullying. Threats. Oligarchs. Deportations. Elon.

And those in power are literally slamming the door shut with a big ol' foot in your booties on entire marginalized populations.

And yet, half of us are cheerfully and gleefully excited to welcome back the country's "savior" to fix it all and bring us back to a place of prosperity.

I'm all for disruption.

We have so many irreparably broken systems in this country.

Is there a way to rip and replace complex networks dripping with corruption and misuse of power and have something functioning well and supporting this country's good people?

It's a tall order.

And maybe it does take a loud bully to abuse his power to see how far he can go and move the country in a new direction.

This playbook - btw, is not new. He wrote about it in The Art of The Deal in 1987.

Make the most brazenly outrageous demands/requests.

Negotiate - and get much MORE than you would have if you had asked for a more "reasonable" request.

This is sales 101 to the extreme.

I am not a political pundit (obvi).

But I am a keen observer of how the culture shifts and how it impacts you and me.

In this political climate, we need to double-down on what matters most: health, relationships and our communities, and opportunities for growth for our one precious life.

The one thing you can control is how you show up every day. What you tell yourself. How you treat people. And what you do.

And my promise to you is that I am always going to deliver useful tools to help you thrive no matter who is in office.
