Happy happy new year! I love a nice clean slate and new possibilities are ACTIVATED!

Our family has a tradition to climb Stone Mountain on New Years Day and share our hopes and dreams.

I also believe deeply in this hilarious comfort zone advice. 🤣

On that note, let's do some things differently...

Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively. It's the same trope again and again. The woman is vilified automatically when there's the slighest hint of bad press about her (soon-to-be-discovered manufactured bad press) - until she shows up with 70 pages of receipts and now he's canceled and is suing right back.

Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. Do we still need gorgeous scantily-clad women to get paid a fraction of what they are worth (and be a jaw-dropping profitable entity on its own) to cheer for men paid millions playing football? I am ALL for the showmanship and hard work. But it feels a little antiquated.

Aging women. Why do we automatically feel shame that our face and hair and body look older when in fact, we are actually getting older? Certainly dealing with this in a big way - stupid perimenopause.

Cults. I want to belong.

I've never considered myself a people-pleaser.

I thought people-pleasers were people who acted like doormats.

WRONG! Turns out, I'm a total people-pleaser. And I wanted to belong to the cult of "normal people."
